Try Line
Our non-vintage Try Line brings together three exceptional Washington vineyards in one distinctive blend: 79% Syrah from Boushey Vineyards in the Yakima Valley AVA, 16% Touriga Nacional from Red Heaven Vineyard on Red Mountain, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon from Quintessence Vineyard on Red Mountain. Aromas of ripe blueberry, dark cherry, black currant, vanilla, floral notes, and black pepper lead into a rich palate layered with black plum, raspberry, and baking spice. The long, expansive finish reveals notes of mocha, toasted oak, and spice, creating a wine with remarkable depth, balance, and complexity.
Tasting notes
On the nose it has notes of strawberries, perfumed cherries, and anise. On the palate the wine has hints of pomegranate, plums, red berries, and sweet tobacco that are held together by a silky texture and fine tannins.

Try Line brings together fruit from three of Washington's premier vineyard sites. Syrah from Boushey Vineyards in the Yakima Valley AVA grows in silt loam and windblown loess soils over fractured basalt, producing wines with vibrant fruit, freshness, and natural balance. Touriga Nacional from Red Heaven Vineyard on Red Mountain comes from calcium-rich, highly alkaline soils that limit vine vigor and produce small, intensely flavored berries. Cabernet Sauvignon from Quintessence Vineyard on Red Mountain contributes depth and structure from its diverse mix of silt loam, sandy loam, and volcanic soils. Together, these vineyard sites create a blend that showcases the diversity and quality of Washington wine.
