Red Heaven Vineyard on Washington's Red Mountain AVA is the source of our 2022 Reserve Tempranillo. The vineyard's calcium-rich, well-drained soils naturally limit vine vigor and encourage deep root growth, producing smaller berries with exceptional concentration and intensity. Combined with Red Mountain's warm days and cool nights, these conditions consistently produce Tempranillo with remarkable depth, structure, and aging potential.
Ali Mayfield serves as winemaker for Mansion Creek Cellars, working closely with vintner Denny Russell on every vintage. From selecting vineyard sources and tasting through blends to deciding when each wine is ready for bottling, they work side by side to craft balanced, expressive wines inspired by Spain and rooted in Washington.
